SHIKARPUR: Man dies in accident

SHIKARPUR, Dec 24: A motorcyclist was killed and his companion was injured when a speeding wagon coming from opposite direction hit their motorcycle near Jamra village on Shikarpur–Sukkur road in the Lakhi area on Wednesday.

Rano Buriro and Ali Gohar Buriro, residents of Lakhi, were going to Lakhi from Shikarpur on a motorcycle. A Shikarpur-bound speeding wagon coming from Sukkur hit their motorcycle.

As a result, Rano was killed and Ali Gohar was injured. He was taken to a local hospital from where he was referred to a Larkana hospital.

No FIR was registered till the filing of this report.

Meanwhile, two robbers were arrested in a raid on Phoosabad village near Mehmooda Bagh, the Lakhi police said.
