In his message, Syed Qaim Ali Shah said the Quaid-i-Azam had spearheaded an untiring struggle for establishing a separate state for Muslims of the subcontinent and owing to his dynamic leadership, the independence Islamic state came into being. “We can put the country on the road to progress by following the great principles of unity and firm determination shown by him. Today, our country is facing internal and external threats. Therefore, the PPP government is striving day and night to meet these challenges,” said Mr Shah.—PPI
