HYDERABAD, Dec 25: The Sindh Taraqqi Pasand Party chairman Dr Qadir Magsi said on Thursday that Tando Mohammad Khan police had launched an undeclared operation against the party activists.

Mr Magsi said at a reception hosted in honour of party leader Dr Ahmed Noonari, and 17 workers, who were released from Badin jail.

He said that feudal lords were no doubt very powerful and influential but ultimately they would have to surrender to people’s power.

Torture cells in jails can neither break the spirit of

STP workers nor force them to deviate from their path, he said.

He congratulated the party workers for launching a successful struggle for the release of party activists.

Situation in Sindh was very dangerous as conspiracies were being hatched to divide the motherland.

The Sindhis would have to unite to protect their historical identity, he said.
