RAJANPUR/DERA GHAZI KHAN, Jan 3: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Atif Khan Mazari on Saturday won the by-election in PP-250 by securing 31,209 votes.

According to unofficial results, Atif defeated his rival independent candidates Zahid Khan Mazari and Ali Hassan Khan Mazari who secured 21,230 and 792 votes, respectively.

The polling started at 8am, but only a few people made to polling stations to cast their votes because of the prevailing cold weather. Four provincial ministers, including Local Government Minister Sardar Dost Muhammad Khosa and Food Minister Malik Nadeem Kamran, monitored polling in the constituency throughout the day.
