Chinese ambassador decorated

ISLAMABAD, Jan 3: President Asif Ali Zardari conferred the Hilal-i-Quaid-i-Azam award on Luo Zhaohui, Ambassador of China to Pakistan, at a ceremony held in the presidency on Saturday.

The award has been conferred in recognition of the services of Ambassador Luo in promoting the Pakistan-China relations and taking extraordinary interest in concluding many agreements and projects of high value between the two countries.

The conferment also indicates the rapid progress in bilateral relations and mutually beneficial collaboration between the two countries which is a matter of great satisfaction for both sides, said a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Luo said he was highly honoured to receive the award.—APP
