HYDERABAD, Jan 4: The Bhitai Nagar police have arrested three suspects in kidnapping of four sisters and their father, whose whereabouts remained unknown.

The police have arrested Mumtaz Panwhar, Akhtar Panwhar and Sikandar, the brother of Shahid Baloch, who has been named in the FIR lodged by Umair Turk.

Three police parties are working to ensure recovery of the girls and their father, who were kidnapped allegedly by in-laws of Raheem alias Ahmed Turk, the brother of Umair Turk.

Raheem Turk had married the daughter of Manzoor Panwhar, a resident of Larkana, in Sept 2007 against the will of her parents.

The couple had been living in different areas to avoid reaction from her parents.

On Thursday night, over half a dozen people entered Umair Turk’s house and kidnapped his 65 years old father Abdul Ghani Turk and his daughters Sarwish, 26, Sadaf, 22, Sahar, 20, and Mahreen, 19.
