KARACHI, Jan 6: Seven ships carrying containers and to load molasses and ethanol are expected to arrive at the outer anchorage on Wednesday, according to KPT sources.

Berthing at the wharves was fairly active where seven ships, Conti Harmony, Northern Harmony, MOL Admiration, APL Jeddah to unload and load containers, Al-Sabiyah to offload gas oil and Mallau to unload chemicals were berthed after the departure of five.

The departing ships were led by Conti Harmony, Kota Lambai, MOL Admiration, Red Sea Spirit and H&H Tide, while Mallau, Swat, Al-Sabiyah, Isara Bhum, Cap Colorado, Northern Harmony, APL Zircon, Team Al-Emirates and Bulk Arrow are due to sail out on Wednesday.

Cargo handling activity at the wharves was maintained on the higher side where a total tonnage of 0.120m tons comprising 29,130 tons of export cargo and 91,171 tons of import tonnage was handled on Tuesday.The following ships are due on Wednesday: Estere, to load molasses, North Pole to load ethanol, Guan He Kou, with general cargo, MOL Affinity, T.S. Jakarta, and Kota Lambang, with containers and Iron Butterfly, with project cargo.
