QUETTA, Jan 6: Activists of Jamiat Ahli-Hadith and Jamiat Ahli-Sunnat held demonstrations here on Tuesday in protest against the Israeli attack on Gaza.

They called for action by the UN Security Council to stop the aggression and killing of innocent Palestinians.

Maulana Ali Mohammad Abu Turab and Syed Habibullah Shah said that Israel had attacked Gaza and killed hundreds of people at the behest of the United States.

They said that the Organisation of Islamic Conference and Islamic states had failed to protect innocent Muslims who were being killed by the United States in Iraq and Afghanistan, Israel in Gaza and Khan Yunus and India in Kashmir.

They also criticised Nato attacks in Afghanistan and tribal areas and allegations levelled by Indians, implicating Pakistan in the Mumbai incident.
