4 crushed to death

NAUSHAHRO FEROZE, Jan 10: Four people, including a child, were killed and a woman was injured in an accident near Kotri Kabir area on Saturday.

According to reports, Dr Ramiz Ali Shah, his ten-year-old son Shahzeb and three women, Khan Bibi, Yasmin and Shabnam were going to Mehrabpur on a motorcycle when a Sukkur-bound truck hit their motorcycle near Khudadad village on the National Highway, killing Ramiz Ali, his son and two women.

ACCIDENT: District coordination secretary PPP Naushahro Feroze, Syed Ghous Ali Shah was killed while his nephew was seriously injured in an accident on the National Highway bypass on Saturday.

Ghous Ali Shah along with his nephew was on motorcycle when a trailer hit them and they came under the wheels of the trailer. They were shifted to Civil Hospital Naushahro Feroze. Body of deceased was taken to his native village Syed Hajan Shah.

PPP MNA Syed Zafar Ali Shah and several other leaders and workers attended the funeral prayers.

PROTEST: About 400 people of Solangi community from different villages reached Bhorti Naka Tharushah on Saturday and took out a procession and marched up to the police station where they staged a sit-in demanding arrest of the killers of their sardar, Aslam Solangi.

They were led by Nawab Khan, Mohammad Jurial and Ali Khan Solangi.
