TJP leader, guard shot dead in Sibi

QUETTA, Jan 10: A central leader of Tehrik-i-Jaffaria Pakistan, Syed Saqlain Naqvi, and his guard were killed in Sibi on Saturday.

According to police sources, Mr Naqvi was at his shop when some armed men on a motorcycle opened fire on him and his guard.

Both were injured seriously and taken to the civil hospital where they died after an hour. The security guard was identified as Ghulam Ali.

Activists of the TJP held a demonstration in protest against the killing of their leader. They marched on the roads and raised slogans against the government.

The bodies were shifted to Quetta for burial.
