KHAIRPUR, Jan 13: Hindu traders, on the call of their Panchayat, continued a shutter down strike on the second day in protest against illegal occupation of temple property by some influential people.
A large number of traders and their community men led by Mukhi Kirpal Das, Sham Lal, Dr Jaipal Das also staged a protest demonstration. They said that the Hindu community was being harassed and pressurised to migrate from the area. They added that none of the authorities concerned were there to listen and resolve their problem.
INQUIRY: DIG Hyderabad Sanaullah Abbasi reached here in Rest House Pir Jo Goth on Tuesday and started inquiry into the murder of Tasleem Solangi.
He recorded statements of different people including the lady doctor who carried out postmortem of Tasleem Solangi, UC Nazim Wada Machhiyoon, a mid-wife, then ASI, some relatives of Tasleem and area people.
