KOHAT, Jan 15: Militants attacked a police checkpost in Gul Hassan Banda with heavy weapons on Thursday but police repulsed the attack.
Militants targeted the checkpost in Gul Hassan Banda near Frontier Region of Kohat with heavy weapons. Police sent reinforcements and the DPO himself reached the spot. Militants fled the area after exchanging fire with police for about two hours. — Correspondent
