HYDERABAD, Jan 16: Demonstrations were held in different parts of Sindh against the massacre of Palestinian people by the Israeli forces with speakers calling on all Muslim nations to unite on one platform and challenge the Israeli aggression.

Activists of Pasban, Shia Ulema Council, Jafria Students Organisation and Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamat held separate demonstrations outside the press club.

Pasban’s General Secretary Riaz Ahmed and Khalid Minhas, Mohammad Shahid and others addressing the rally said that the Palestinian Muslims were writing a new history with their blood.

They said that the Pakistani rulers were awarding medals to American officials while Palestinians, including women and children were being massacred by the Zionist state with the blessings of America.

Condemning the role of Muslim rulers they said that Muslims of the world could teach a lesson to Israel if they unite on one platform and urged them to give a befitting reply to Israel.

Workers of Shia Ulema Council and Jafria Students Organisation staged a rally from Qadamgah Moula Ali to the press club and burned Israeli and American flags at Hyder Chowk.

Shia leaders speaking outside the press club urged all Muslim nations to unite and teach a lesson to Zionist state.

Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamat activists also held a protest rally outside the press club to condemn Israeli aggression.

Qari Abdul Ghaffar, Mohammad Abdullah, Abdul Hameed and other leaders appealed to Muslim countries to severe economic and diplomatic relations with Israel. They demanded all Muslim countries to also boycott the UN.

In Mirpurkhas, Jamaat-i-Islami activists staged a demonstration at Makka Masjid Chowk after Juma prayers. Carrying banners and placards, they raised slogans against the US and Israel.

In Nawabshah, activists of different religious organisations took out rallies and staged demonstration outside the local press club.

Moulana Yaqoob Qadri, Moulana Abdul Jabber Tunio and others of Jamat-e-Ahl-e-Sunnat and Jamat al Suhileen said that the US, Europe and the United Nations were silent on Israeli bombardment of innocent Palestinians in Gaza.

They said that Jews had imposed a war against Islam and Muslims should unite to fight it back.

Meanwhile activists of Ahl-e-Sunnat Wal Jamat and Sunni Ulema Council took out a rally and staged a demonstration.

Rallies were also taken out in Naushahro Feroze and Kandiaro. Workers of the PML-N took out a rally from their office in Naushahro Feroze which after marching on different roads reached the press club. Protesters raised slogans against Israel and America.

Members and supporters of Asgharia Students Federation led by Adnan Jokhio, Taqi Shah and Passand Ali took out rally from their office which after marching on different roads reached at Mukhtiarkar office chowk Kandiaro.
