QUETTA, Jan 24: Two traders from Rahimyar Khan were gunned down in an attack here on Saturday.

Police said that armed men on a motorcycle opened fire on them on the Sariab road. They died right on the crime scene because they had been shot in their heads.

The deceased were identified as Shahzad and Farooq. The assailants escaped after committing the crime.

Balochistan Chief Minister Nawab Aslam Raisani took notice of the incident and directed IGP Asif Nawaz Warraich to take steps for the immediate arrest of culprits.

Baloch Liberation Army spokesman Beebargh Baloch claimed responsibility for the attack on behalf of his group.

Calling from an undisclosed place, he told reporters that the Baloch Liberation Army was also behind the attack on Kohlu Tehsildar Ayub Marri in which his guard was killed and he was injured.
