PHF replaces jr coach

Published January 29, 2009

LAHORE, Jan 28: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has named Olympian Khawaja Mohammad Junaid as chief coach of the Pakistan Junior team in place of Qamar Ibrahim.

Qamar’s constant absence from PHF activities had a role in the federation’s having to make the replacement.

PHF secretary Asif Bajwa said that Danish Kaleem and Ahmad Alam would remain with the team as assistant coaches. Both are attending the PHF High Performance Course.
