KARACHI, Jan 29: Hosts Sindh made amends when they swept past Balochistan 4-2 to clinch last encounter of the three-match series between the two provinces at the Hockey Club of Pakistan Stadium on Thursday.

Yasir Ghafoor struck twice while Wasim and Bilal netted once for the local team. M. Kashif slammed both goals for the losers.

However, despite defeat, the visitors have won the series 2-1 by virtue of winning the first two games.

Balochistan girls, meanwhile, swept the three match series beating Sindh 3-1 in the last game. Tahira (2) and Nadia (1) scored for winners while Asma scored the consolation goal for local outfit.

The prize distribution ceremony will be held at the Sindh Sports Board Complex on Friday at 6.00pm.
