KARACHI, Feb 12: Pakistan women’s cricket team suffered a massive 115-run defeat at the hands of Sri Lanka in the triangular one-day tournament underway in Bangladesh.

According to a message received here on Thursday, S. Shiriwardene slammed 64 in 69 balls with 10 fours and one six as Sri Lanka raised 207 for the loss of eight wickets in 34 overs. Javeria Khan and Asmavia Iqbal took two wickets apiece.

Pakistan in reply were all out at 92 in 33.3 overs. Extras top-scored with 19. Opener Bisma Maroof contributed 18 with two fours.

This was Pakistan’s second defeat against Sri Lanka after they beat Bangladesh in their opening match.
