FAISALABAD, Dec 31: On the instructions of the law-enforcement agencies, the tehsil municipal administration closed its both the main gates for security reasons on Wednesday , leaving little space for the councillors, other officials and the commoners to enter the complex.
The closure of gates caused inconvenience to the visitors to the different branches of the TMA. Security guards have also been deputed outside the office of Tehsil Nazim Mumtaz Ali Cheema.
The councillors and citizens termed this step unjustifiable, saying locking the main gates of a public institution is an insult to the people as well as elected representatives.
