ATTOCK: PAF man held in drug case

ATTOCK, Jan 11: Police on Sunday claimed to have arrested two drug smugglers, including a PAF technician, and found narcotics concealed in their car.

Sources said police officials posted at Mullah Mansoor checkpost signalled a car (Mansehra A-1324) to stop, but the driver sped away.

Police chased the car in their vehicle and during the pursuit both the vehicles collided and overturned. The occupants of the car - Qaiserullah and air technician Abdul Wali - sustained injuries, however, the police officials remained unhurt.

The police shifted the injured to District Headquarters hospital, Attock, and later found 170kg hashish concealed in the car.
