SUKKUR, Jan 11: Sui Gas Field Employees Union president Ghulam Sarwar Bugti has demanded that Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali should order action against security officials who tortured students of the Model School, Sui, on Saturday.

Talking to this correspondent by telephone on Sunday, the labour leader said the security officials tortured 90 students. He said the students were tortured as they had not brought security passes issued to them by the officials.

The union leader said the students belonged to families of Sui gas field workers. He warned that the situation could become serious if the government did not take action against the officials concerned.
