SARGODHA: Accused killer arrested

SARGODHA, Jan 12: City police have arrested the suspected killer of three women of Chak 54-SB, it is learnt on Monday. Sources said Iftikhar used to live with the family but had been missing since the murders.

A resident of Faisalabad, hewas posted at the school situated in suburb of Chak 54-SB. They said the people of the area had told the police that one of the murdered women wanted to marry a youth of the locality. Iftikhar was against the match. Police were reluctant to disclose investigation progress, but confirmed the arrest.

RELEASED: The owners of a private health facility, arrested for treating an injured Al Qaeda suspect, have been released. Police said medical centre employees Zaheer and Alamgir were still being interrogated. Two surgeons who treated the suspect could not be taken into custody as they had gone outside the city to attend a medical conference.
