Speaking at the council meeting on Wednesday, Atta Mohammed Chanhio, Hassan Chandio and Ismail Dars said substandard material was used in the construction of roads. They said quality of work was poor and newly-constructed roads had broken at various places.

They said an inquiry should be held in the construction of roads. Aman Shar demanded that metres of petrol pumps should be checked because they were providing two points less on every litre.
