DERA GHAZI KHAN, Jan 22: The inter-provincial Dera-Quetta Road remained closed for several hours on Wednesday and Thursday. Snow fall and light drizzle on Wednesday night made the road slippery , resulting in traffic blockade near Dabak, Fort Munro, some 65 kilometres from here.

It also halted work on the widening of the road from Sakhi Sarwar to Diwata. Several commuters had to spend the whole night in their vehicles.

The blockade suspended the supply of fruits and vegetables to various cities of the Punjab and of chicken to Balochistan.
