SANGHAR, Jan 23: Several Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal workers and leaders took out a procession here on Friday to protest against the arrest of nuclear scientists of the Khan Research Laboratories, Kahuta.

The procession started from the Jamia Masjid and culminated at the local press club. The participants carried banners and placards with slogans against the rulers.

Speaking to the protesters, Amir of Jamaat-i-Islami, Mohammad Tufail, and many others denounced the arrest of scientists. They accused the rulers of acting on the directions of the US besides having sold the interests of the country. They demanded that the KRL scientists should be released at the earliest and also urged the rulers not to compromise on the Kashmir issue.
