FAISALABAD, Feb 12: The Private Schools Management Association has threatened to boycott the examinations of fifth and eight classes in protest against doubling the papers' fund and some other policies of the education department.

In a statement issued here on Thursday, association president Muhammad Naseem said the provincial education department had increased the paper funds for the students of fifth and eight classes by 100 per cent, which was unjustified.

He further said the private schools had been bound to deposit the increased paper funds for all students, otherwise, their roll number slips would not be issued. He said the private school associations had approached the authorities concerned for withdrawal of decision, but all their efforts proved futile.
