SUKKUR: 3 women of a family kidnapped

SUKKUR, Feb 25: A group of armed persons kidnapped three women of a family in Ubauro, Ghotki district, on Wednesday. Ten persons raided the house of Dharo Oadh near Mureed Shakh, opened indiscriminate firing and kidnapped Sardari , wife of Dharo Oadh, Oadh's daughter-in-law Laila and daughter Zareena. The police said the incident was the result of a matrimonial dispute.

TENSION: Tension is mounting between Mari and Chandio clans following a double murder on the pretext of Karo-kari in the Lalan Wah village, Tando Masti police station jurisdiction, Khairpur.

Shaukat Mari and Hooran Chandio were killed on Tuesday after which two separate cases were registered at the Tando Masti police station. Qurban Ali, brother of the deceased Shaukat, lodged an FIR against eight Mari clansmen and Ghulam Shabbir, father of the deceased woman, lodged another FIR against nine persons of the Chandio clan.
