LAHORE, March 1: PPP chairperson Benazir Bhutto has condoled the death of the father of ARD deputy information secretary Munir Ahmad Khan.

In a condolence message, she said: "A father is a shelter in life and losing a parent suddenly is as shocking as it is sorrowful. I feel for you and your family at this time of mourning."

The message said: "Although your father has left this world, he continues to live through you, his family and all those who knew him. The special values which he instilled in all of you, his strength of character and determination to see his family educated, the sacrifices that he made and the joy he felt to see each of you attain success will live on in your development and what you pass on to your children and society."
