LAHORE, March 18: A brilliant century by Saeed bin Nasir guided Karachi to a three-wicket win over Multan in the Quaid-i-Azam Trophy match at the Bahawalpur Stadium on Thursday.

Saeed struck 118 as Karachi achieved a challenging target of 310 in just 59.2 overs, for the loss of seven wickets. The promising right-hander hit 12 fours in his 178-ball knock.

Faisal Iqbal, the Test right-hander, was also in fine nick with 81 off 102 deliveries while putting on 160 for the third wicket Saeed. He slammed nine fours.

Earlier, Multan made a sporting declaration at 441 for six after resuming their second innings at 327 for four. Skipper Aamir Bashir added 49 runs to his overnight 102 before he was out for 151.
