KASUR, March 28: Three family members were killed while six others were injured on Sunday after two cars collided head-on at Puchokey village, Raiwind Sadar.

Police said the family was going to Kot Radha Kishan from Lahore by car (8076-LXY) when their vehicle crashed into another oncoming car (512-LXM) from the opposite side.

As a result, two brothers - Razzaq and Adnan and their cousin travelling in the former car died instantly while Imran, Khadim and Siddique sustained injuries. They were shifted to a hospital in Kot Radha Kishan.

While Naseer, Nazir and Shahab Khan travelling in the other car also suffered injuries. They were also admitted to the same hospital. However, Siddique was later shifted to General Hospital, Lahore, in critical condition. Raiwind Sadar police have registered a case.

SNATCHED: Four armed robbers on Sunday snatched cash from two tractor drivers near BS Link Road, Chhanga Manga. Sources said Mauj Din on his tractor (3340-KSA) while Saleem and Salamat Ali on their tractor (9597-KSA) were returning from Pattoki Sugar Mills after selling sugarcane when armed robbers stopped them.

They tortured them on resistance, then tied them up with nearby trees, snatched Rs52,000 in cash from them and escaped with the booty. Chhanga Manga police are going into the matter.
