HYDERABAD, April 1: District Public Safety Commission chairperson Masood Pervez has recommended suspension from service and registration of a case against the SHO of B-section police station , Amir Jafri, ASI Hasan Jafri and four constables for their alleged violation of section 155-D of the Police Order 2002.

The recommendation, made on March 30, has been sent to the DPO Hyderabad, asking him to register a case under section 156 of the Police Order 2002, which deals with penalty for vexatious entry, search, arrest, seizure of property, torture, etc.

The DPO has asked Additional DPO Mujahid Akbar to conduct an inquiry and take necessary action. The matter pertained to the arrest of Shakeel Ahmed Khan and Mubashar Hasan, who were wanted by the police in connection with an FIR (125/2003) lodged at the A-section police station.

According to SHO Jafri, both Shakeel Khan and Mubashar Hasan were absconders in the said case. They were nabbed by the B- section police who later handed them over to an A-section investigation team in November 2003.

A monetary dispute existed between Shakeel Khan and Sagheer Hussain and they have lodged cases against each other.

The DPSC chairperson said the accused were arrested from Bismillah Square in unit no 7, the but B-section police had mala fidely shown their arrest from the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) office, adding that Sagheer Husain in league with SHO and ASI got these two arrested.
