LAHORE, April 8: Faisalabad made history on Thursday by winning their maiden Quaid-i-Azam Trophy title after defeating Lahore by six wickets at the LCCA Ground on Thursday.

Needing 103 for their fourth victory, Faisalabad knocked off the required runs for the loss of four wickets. Faisalabad, who have now collected 36 points from six games, on Sunday won their first-ever one-day title in the Quaid-i-Azam Cup.

Lahore, who resumed at the overnight 75 for two, were all out for 267 in the second innings with Ashraf Ali making 65 to follow his 141 in the first innings. Test reject Mohammad Hafeez captured five for 46 with his off-spinners.
