FAISALABAD, April 14: A gas turbine was damaged slightly when the main gas supply line caught fire near the main SNGPL office on Sargodha Road here on Tuesday night. Reports said that supply lines and pressure motors of the Phase-I transmission lines caught fire incidentally which engulfed the entire machinery of the unit and other articles.

The fire brigade staff rushed to the spot and extinguished the fire after efforts of some two hours. The SNGPL officials claimed that an inquiry had been ordered to find out the causes of the fire and to fix responsibility.
