LAHORE, May 16: The event manager of the International Hockey Federation (FIH) visited the National Hockey Stadium on Sunday and was briefed about the arrangements being made for holding the Champions Trophy to be heldfrom Dec 3 to 13.

Dennis Merth, who is here on two-day visit, was briefed by Punjab Sports Board officials about the renovation work of the NHS which had already been started with an estimated cost of Rs 18.5 million.

Merth will also be meeting with Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) officials on Monday to discuss the security arrangements and other technical aspects.
