OKARA, May 17: Differences between the two groups of tenants of military farms villages have reportedly surfaced again. Almost three weeks ago, both the groups had nominated office-bearers of Anjuman-i-Mozaraeen Punjab (AMP).

One is led by Mehr Abdul Sattar and the other by Younis Iqbal Masih. Now the Mahar group, after consultation with all the military farms villagers of the province, has nominated new office-bearers.

They are: chairman Liaqat Ali, president Mian Khushi Muhammad Dola of Okara Military Farms, SVP Mian Muhammad Ashraf of Lahore Bengali Farms, VP Mushtaq Ahmad Kamra of Sargodha Livestock Farms, and others.

Meanwhile, Mehr Abdul Sattar alleged that Younis Masih had no concern with the AMP and its cause as his activities were against the slogan of "ownership or death." He said Younis' France visit three weeks ago was allegedly managed by an NGO, World Church Services.

Iqbal Masih returned while his three relatives did not come back and sought permanent settlement there, he said, adding that the Anjuman did not get any benefit from the visit. Challenging him, Sattar said Younis did not enjoy the support even for the election of district office-bearer.
