LARKANA, June 23: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education, Larkana, on Wednesday announced the results of Secondary School Certificate-II examinations. In the science group, 18,805 candidates appeared in the examinations. The pass percentage of girls remained 94.05 while of boys, it remained 87.70.

Among boys, Riaz Ahmad Shah of the Larkana Cadet College secured the first position by obtaining 763 marks, Irfan Ahmad Shah of the Government High School, Arija Pherho, obtained 747 marks and stood second and Rizwan Ahmad Bhutto of the Government Higher Secondary School, Banguldero, got 737 marks and stood third.

Among girls, Amarta Pinjani of the Mehran Model Higher Secondary School, Nasirabad, secured the first position by obtaining 750 marks, Sadia Iqbal Awan of the Bahria Foundation College, Jacobabad, stood second by getting 737 marks and Hudaisa Haffez of the Saint Josehp Grammar School, Jacobabad, stood third by securing 716 marks. In the general group, 718 students took the examinations. The pass percentage remained 81.62.

Among boys, Mohammad Jamil of the Government High School, Mirokhan, grabbed the first position by obtaining 582 marks, Abdul Qayoom of the Sachal Sarmast Oriental College, Larkana, and Mohammad Ali of the Government Higher Secondary School, Naudero, shared the second position by getting 578 each and Riaz Hussain Abro of the Government High School, Ratodero, got 555 marks and stood third.

Among girls, Ruqia Begum Khokhar of the Government Higher Secondary School, Garhi Khairo, secured first position by getting 572 marks, Maryam Khatoon of the Government Higher Secondary School, Garhi Khair, got 570 marks and stood second and Pashmina of the Government High School, Sultankot, secured the third position with 552 marks.
