HYDERABAD July 2: Justice Azizullah M. Memon of the Sindh High Court, Hyderabad circuit bench, on Friday issued bailable warrant of arrest against a sub-inspector of Federal Investigation Agency and restrained him from harassing the petitioner.

The petitioner said that he had embraced Islam and married a widow, Salma, who had five children. He said that he divorced his wife after he came to know about her dubious character. He also paid Rs50,000 to her in respect of her dowry.

He said that Salma was harassing him through FIA authorities and Nazim UC Bholari, levelling false and baseless allegations. He prayed the court to restrain respondents from harassing him and direct the SHO to lodge his FIR against Salma.

The court had issued notice to the FIA sub-inspector for today but he was absent in the court. The court issued bailable warrants of arrest against him in a sum of Rs10,000. The case has been adjourned until July 7.
