KHAIRPUR, July 6: People's Party Parliamentarians MNA Manzoor Wassan has said that people are more interested in restoration of law and order in Sindh than in change of faces of the rulers.

Talking to newsmen here, Mr Wassan said that the bureaucracy was a hurdle in resolving people's problem, hence officials should not be posted in their home districts. He said that bureaucrats should not be appointed on the orders of ministers because they would work for ministers and their party members.

He criticised the attitude of police and added that people would continue to be victimized at their hands. Mr Wassan said that the accountability process was good but it was better if it was started from the ruling party. He said that if the opposition party was made accountable, it would be victimisation.
