LARKANA, July 14: Activists of the Sindh National Front took out a procession here on Wednesday against the killing of SNF activists Khushnood Ahmed Chacha in Karachi.

Former MPA Amir Bakhsh Bhutto led the protesters who carried banners and placards inscribed with slogans against the murder. The workers marched on the main roads of city and staged a sit-in outside the Jinnah Bagh.

Speaking on the occasion, Amir Bakhsh Bhutto accused the Karachi police of sheltering the killers of Khushnood Chacha. Mr Bhutto said that despite the orders by the Sindh chief minister to arrest the killers, the police had failed to do so.

"Karachi has deliberately been handed over to terrorists", he said. "Instead of protecting the people the rulers are more worried about their chair," he added. He said that terrorism was not something to be linked with Karachi alone but it had torn peace in the entire Sindh.

He cited the example of the kidnapping of a trader, Snatosh Kumar, in a broad day light. Dr Roshan Paichoho, Irshad Junejo, Liaquat Abro, Safdar Korai and others also spoke on the occasion.

BADIN: About 200 activists of the Sindh National Front, district chapter, took out a procession on Wednesday against the murder of Chacha Khushnood in Karachi. The protesters carried placards and banners and marched on the main roads of the town.

They staged a sit-in at the Kazia Wah chowk for an hour. Speaking on the occasion, Hamid Bhurgari, Bahadur Khan and others said that the government had failed to provide protection to people.

They alleged that the terrorists were roaming freely and there was no rule of law in Sindh. They expressed concern over the inordinate delay in the arrest of culprits and said that the administration was not sincere to punish the terrorists.

NAWABSHAH: Workers of the SNF took out a procession against the killing of their leader, Chacha Khushnood, on Wednesday. Led by Mehboob Magsi and Farid Shah, they started marching from the Magsi house and culminated at the local press club. The protesters carried banners. They condemned the killing of Khushnood Chacha and demanded that killers be arrested.

DADU: A large number of workers of the SNF staged a demonstration outside the press club on Wednesday and demanded that the killers of the SNF leader, Chacha Khushnood, be arrested. Speaking on the occasion, the SNF leaders alleged that the police had failed to arrest the killers of Chacha Khushnood who was killed by the terrorists in Karachi.
