HYDERABAD, Aug 2: Tribute was paid by JSQM leaders to their murdered comrade Gul Mohammad Bhatti at a condolence meeting held in Qasimabad on Sunday and attended by hundreds of party workers.

Speaking on the occasion, Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz chairman Bashir Qureshi said that the party had suffered a great loss in the demise of Mr Gul who was a true follower of the late G.M. Syed.

He said that the Mahaz believed in non-violence which was the policy of G.M. Syed but its workers would not remain quiet on the murder of their comrade. The JSQM chief directed the workers to dig out the main accused, Mazhar Memon, of his hiding place.

He announced that the Mahaz workers would hold protest demonstrations throughout Sindh on August 7 and launch a series of hunger strikes in Hyderabad and Karachi on August 8 to put pressure on police to arrest the accused.

The father of Mr Gul, Parwano Bhatti, said that his son was was a brave member of the Jeay Sindh movement, reports our Bureau.
