KOHAT, Aug 17: MPA Qalb-i-Hassan has said that two new girls college would be established in Kohat during the next financial year to overcome the problem of shortage of seats in the existing institutions.

Speaking at a press conference here on Tuesday, the MPA said an assurance in this regard had been held out by Chief Minister Akram Durrani whom he met recently. He said a second Frontier Education Foundation (FEF) College would start functioning soon in Kohat.

The MPA claimed that during the meeting the chief minister assured him that out of the 16 new colleges being established in the province, Kohat would get one by next year which would be in addition to the FEF College. He said that he ended the boycott of assembly proceedings after the chief minister promised to increase 80 more seats in the Government Girls Degree College.
