RAWALPINDI, Sept 1: A teenage girl and her brother were abducted by unidentified persons while going to school in Saddar Barooni area, police said on Wednesday.

Habibur Rehman, the father of the missing children, told the police that Saima Rehman, 14, and Attiqur Rehman, 11, were going to school when two persons travelling in a Jeep dragged the children into their vehicle and drove away.

While quoting the witnesses, the police said three children were waiting for their school van when a jeep stopped near them, and unidentified persons dragged two children inside their vehicle and drove away.

In another incident, Mohammad Arshad told the RA Bazaar police that four robbers entered his house and looted Rs20,000, two mobile telephone sets, a CD player and wrist watches.

Meanwhile, Raheel Javaid told the RA Bazaar police that four persons booked his taxi for Bakra Mandi, and on reaching their destination snatched the vehicle and cash from him at gunpoint. Meanwhile, Samiullah's Toyota Corolla (IDM-8511) was stolen outside Eidgah graveyard, while Asima Chaudhry's car was lifted from her house in Satellite Town.
