NAWABSHAH, Sept 17: Members of the local chaper of the Sindh Disabled Welfare Association staged a demonstration on Thursday against the failure of government to provide jobs to them.

Nabi Bux Shar, Abid Lashari, Yousuf Malik and Mushtaq Memon led the protest. They also observed a token hunger strike. They said people with disabilities be given jobs according to the prescribed quota.

APPEAL: A man, Riaz Mohammad Ismailkhel, has appealed to the president and the prime minister to save his wife's life who might be killed as kari by her relatives. Speaking at a press conference on Thursday, he said he married Tehmina Kandhro about five months back and were living happily in Nawabshah.
