KOHAT, Sept 20: Six people, four of them members of a family, were killed in an attack on a pick-up in Mohammadzai town on the Parachinar main road on Monday.

According to an FIR registered by Malik Khan in the Cantonment police station, Haji Gul, Suleman, Sajid and Fareedullah were on their way home after attending a court hearing when their enemies opened firing at them with automatic weapons.

The driver and cleaner of the pick-up, identified as Yaqoob Shah and Wajid Bad Shah, died on the spot. There was an old enmity between the Mali Khan group and the Zahid Khan group, police said. Malik Khan nominated Kashif, Ishaq, Mushtaq, Tahir, Zahid Khan (PO), Khalid, Shahid and Mohabat in the FIR. Police has yet to arrest the accused killers.
