OKARA, Oct 5: Hundreds of students of several city schools on Tuesday took out a rally against the activists of the People's Students Federation, who injured three students of the Islamia High School and humiliated teachers the other day.

The PSF office-bearers, who are the students of the Government Degree College, had taken the step when the teachers of the Islamia High School did not allow their pupil to join the protest being launched against the police for not arresting the kidnappers of two students. Both the groups pelted stones.

In retaliation, a large number of students of the Islamia High School (city), MC High School and other institutions, holding clubs, took out a rally and chanted slogans against the PSF men who once again pelted them with stones. This led to another clash between the two students groups.

After some time, the city police reached the troubled spot and controlled the situation. A-Division police have already registered late Monday night a case against 30 PSF activists, including Yasin Sahu, Ijaz Gill, Rao Ishaq, Waseem Baloch and Zahid Baloch, under 16 MPO for disturbing peace. Meanwhile, the Government Degree College administration has claimed that these PSF activists are not regular students of the institution.
