HYDERABAD, Oct 13: Chief Engineer of Hesco, Sukkur, Yayah Bashir, has directed officials of the company to solve problems of its employees within 20 days.

He was speaking at a meeting of the Joint Works' Council held in the Wapda Colony in Hussainabad here on Tuesday.

Earlier, president of the Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Central Labour Union Abdul Latif Nizamani underlined the problems of the Hesco employees. The problems included harassment of the employees during performance of their duties by influential persons, recruitment of employees' children, reinstatement of suspended employees, grant of medical facilities, preparation of correct seniority lists and payment of compensation to the employees in case of accidents. Senior officers of Hesco and CBA union leaders attended the meeting.

BDS RESULT: The controller of examinations, Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences, has announced results of second professional BDS bi-annual examinations 2004.

Meanwhile, the additional controller of examinations, LUMHS, has announced that theory examinations of postgraduate diploma and degree courses will be held from Oct 26 to 30 at the Jamshoro campus.
