HAFIZABAD, Oct 13: The district and sessions judge has ordered police to register a case under the Hudood Ordinance against two persons for abduction. Reports said Zafar and Qamar had abducted a woman from Sakhi village a month ago.

The parents of the victim approached the Saddar police station to get a case registered against the suspects, but the police showed reluctance. Thereafter, the victim's brother filed a petition with the court of the district and sessions judge, who directed the police to institute a case against the suspects.

FLOUR: District Coordination Officer Syed Iftikhar Husain Shah said on Wednesday flour would be sold at subsidized rates during Ramazan. He said a 20-kilogram of flour bag would be sold for Rs190 instead of Rs235 for which 18 sale points had been established.
