SUKKUR: 35 injured as bus overturns

SUKKUR, Oct 13: About 35 passengers of a Karachi-bound bus were injured when it overturned on the National Highway near Naushahro Feroze on Wednesday.

The driver of the bus coming from Peshawar took a sharp turn to save a motorcyclist. As a result the bus overturned. Those injured were shifted to hospitals in Bhiria and Naushahro Feroze.

They included Sattar Ahmed Solangi, Mukhtiar, Umer Ali, Fazlur Rehman, Mian Sardar, Mukhtiar Mohammad, Jahan Siraj, Atta Mohammad, Gulzar, Jan Bakht, Mumtaz, Nawab Khan, Bakhtiar Ahmed, Qadam Khan, Ahmed Ali, Dosti Khan, Tayyab Khan, Imran, Maryam and Shireen.

Meanwhile, a man died after being run over by a trailer on the National Highway near Dadloi in Pano Aqil taluka on Wednesday. The victim, Mohammad Paryal, 40, son of Soomar Chachar, resident of Haji Jamal Din village, was crossing the road. Trailer driver escaped leaving the vehicle behind.
