Terror suspect held in Sadiqabad

RAWALPINDI, Oct 14: The law-enforcement agencies have picked up a suspect believed to be linked to a high-profile terrorist attack in Sadiqabad here on Thursday, security source said.

He said a joint raid by the law-enforcement agencies assisted was carried out at a house at Shakrial in Sadiqabad. During the raid, the suspect, whose identity had been withheld by security officials, was picked up along with a hand-grenade and was taken to away for interrogation.

When the Sadiqabad police were contacted, they expressed their ignorance about the arrest. "Our officers may know about the arrest," a police official said.

However, another security official said that the law-enforcement agencies had taken one or more persons into custody linked to a high-profile terrorist case.
