HYDERABAD, Oct 22: Relatives of Nisar Ahmad Mallah, who is reported to have died in the custody of the Kotri Site police on August 18, have rejected the postmortem report prepared by a doctor of the Kotri Taluka Hospital.

Speaking at a news conference at the press club here on Friday, Sahib Dino Mallah, Mohammad Khan Mallah, Sarwar Mallah and others said Dr Shamsuddin did not possess necessary qualifications to conduct post-mortem and his integrity was also doubtful.

They said Nisar Ahmad had received head injuries but the doctor had not made a clear mention of these injuries in the report. They further said there were no signs that Nisar Ahmad had died of electrocution. They demanded that a medical board of expert doctors be appointed to re-conduct the post-mortem to ascertain the cause of the death.

SPSC: The controller of examinations, Sindh Public Service Commission, Hyderabad, has announced names of eligible candidates who were interviewed by the commission for posts in labour, transport, industries and commerce departments.
