Three blasts rock Gwadar

QUETTA, Nov 5: At least three persons were injured, one of them seriously, when three bombs exploded in the coastal town of Gwadar late on Thursday night, police said.

According to reports reaching here, the bombs were planted near the rest house of a government department. "The bombs exploded at brief intervals androcked the coastal town," official sources said.

The three injured have been identified as Mohammad Akhtar, Abdul Ghafoor and Saleem Ahmed. They have been admitted to the civil hospital. They were employees of the Survey of Pakistan and were staying in the rest house.

The rest house was damaged and windowpanes of nearby houses and buildings were shattered. Police have launched investigation. The devices were locally made and planted with timer, the sources said.
